Colonial Revival Reinvented
For long-time clients the transformation of this center entrance colonial revival was truly an unforgettable journey from start to finish. The addition of a kitchen, family room, mudroom, master bedroom suite, and still keeping and respecting the age of the house and footprint, was challenging but enormously successful and rewarding at the end of the day. The elegance of the age of the house is kept in tack with a strong dose of color, texture, extraordinary English lighting, and breathtaking art and fabrics.

Junior League Show House Newton
The dramatic Potter Estate in Newton and a grand old American Victorian house built in the 1860s. In 1921 the house became the property of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston. It was around this time an amazing wrap-around, wood paneled porch with copper ceiling panels and a gorgeous Chinese globe chandelier was added. Gerald Pomeroy Interiors had the good fortune to re-decorate this porch in an exceptionally tasteful way, with a respectful nod to the house’s lineage.
